Welcome to Shravana School of Yoga - San Marcos
The Shravana School of Yoga offers educational programs that connect people to the healing power of the Heart’s Light through traditional spiritual teachings, disciplined yogic practices and the transformational power of community. The School of Yoga is dedicated to authentic spirituality, practical work on self and is dedicated to helping people of all ages, sizes and backgrounds experience the joy of yoga and conscious living. Conceived in the fall of 2011, by Christina Sell and Darren Rhodes, the School of Yoga is a resource for yoga practitioners and teachers of all traditions who wish to step deeper into the path of awakening and service. It’s official birthday is January 3, 2012 at 9:00am Central Time. In February 2012, Noah Maze joined our team of dedicated teachers.
Located in the quiet and restorative town of San Marcos near the life-giving waters of the San Marcos River, the School of Yoga-San Marcos is a place of retreat, study and inspiration. Here, we are dedicated to the practices and principles of yoga as a way to align our hearts, our bodies and our minds with the deepest purposes of life and to the Divine Spirit that lives inside each of us. The School of Yoga-San Marcos offer alignment-based hatha yoga classes that are precise, dynamic and intelligent. Our classes offer students reliable ways to cultivate inner and outer strength, develop flexibility, calm the mind and inspire the Heart and Spirit. Our teachers are highly-trained, systematic in their approach to practice and dedicated to the principles of yoga on and off the mat.
In addition to ongoing classes, Shravana School of Yoga-San Marcos is a training center that offers workshops and seminars in the art and science of yoga, teaching and holistic living.
